This campaign ensures our students’ needs are the priority, always.
DTA will always demand what we know helps students learn and thrive.
Justice for All Students means:
All students deserve high quality educators.
All students deserve high quality instruction.
All students deserve the best resources and individualized support.
What is the 3 year union agreement?
A high quality union agreement means high quality education for our students across Dublin.
Our union agreement (sometimes called our contract or collective bargaining agreement) lasts for 3 year terms. The last term just ended, so, in this campaign we are setting the agreement for the next 3 years!
What will be bargained for?
Every DTA member is a bargainer. This is more than a slogan. We mean it. We have amazing leaders and speakers, but it is with 80% or higher participation at every school that will ensure our win.
There is a “table team” of DTA members that will negotiate a series of articles from the union agreement. They will take your ideas and feedback directly to the district. This means they need to know what matters to you!
This means that August is when we need to connect and hear from you. We need to get organized to show our strength and protect our students.
